Trekking for Children

............is a project dedicated to raising funds for the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Welcome Home Ministries, which provides care for children in crisis. With 15 children under their permanent care, some of whom are restricted to wheelchairs, safe play areas must be specially designed. Help the Rod and Linda Price family, of Atlanta, GA, buy materials and fund the work to upgrade their backyard into a safe place where the kids can play together. Find out more.

...... From June 8th to September 28th, 2004, Sarah and Nate successfully became the first people in history to walk the entire West Coast tideline form the most northwest point in the contiguous United States, Cape Flattery, to the border of Mexico to the beach at Tijiuana along what is is being called the American West Coast Trail (see map above).

.......Using their on-line trail journals and community events as publicity tools, they hope to raise money (100% to Welcome Home). Please take a few moments to enjoy the journey, vicariously brought to you from our nation's protected wildlands. In fact, you are welcome to come along for the whole stroll! Before you leave, consider purchasing a t-shirt to show your support or making a donation either by check or online via PayPal to make a difference in the lives of these special children.

.......While the trekkers march south, community leaders Bobbi Matthews, Dave Matthews, Maggie Matthews, Doug Olive, Amy Olive, Tim Olive, Becky Sanders, and Carly Robinson lead the fundraising efforts in Atlanta and Athens, GA.

Thank ya'll for your generous support.
